Google Started World’s Fastest Internet Connection : 1GB per Second
Google, The biggest player of Internet World again in news for it’s latest invention. Internet giant Google has started world’s fastest Internet service called “Google Fibre” and the speed of this world’s most fastest internet connection is more than any normal person can even think, Google unveiled the world’s fastest internet connection through its ultra-high speed service, offering lightning fast access of one Gigabyte per second (1GB/second). The best search engine unveiled its ultra-high speed Google Fiber service in Kansas City, Missouri, and it hopes to roll out the service to other cities soon.
Reason behind that ultra speed is the service which uses optical fibre to deliver speeds far in excess of traditional web services, the offered speed is faster than almost anywhere else on Earth. Users can choose to use a tablet or smartphone as a voice-activated remote control.Google is offering its Nexus 7 tablet with the Google TV app for early users of the service.
Features of Google Fiber
Google Fiber includes awesome features like the ability to record eight TV shows at a time and store up to 500 hours of high definition programming ,Google Fiber’s ultra high-speed connections and television allowing users to search live channels, Netflix, YouTube, recorded shows and tens of thousands of hours of on-demand programming. Google Fiber includes more than 100 networks and costs $120 a month for a package of TV and Internet, if offers 1 GB per second Internet speeds and 1 (TB) Terabyte for cloud storage.
General manager of Google Access, Kevin Lo said ‘Google is a very different company and this is not a short term project.’ Google also intends to roll out product packages for businesses, but would not provide details, officials said they are confident, Kansas City will be a showcase of success for a larger rollout. They explained now there is no need to wait, a movie of 1 GB will be downloaded in just one click, this is something on which many can’t believe, and it really sounds good.
According to Google executives, Charges for fastest Internet Connection : Consumers have to pay $10 to register their household online for service. About 50 ‘neighbors’ will need to register in order for their area to be eligible for installation services.
